A safe home is the foundation of dignity, security, and well-being. Through our Shelter Support Program, Hope of Life Foundation assists vulnerable individuals and families, particularly older persons, persons with disabilities, and those living in extreme poverty, by improving or providing safe and decent housing. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home where they can live with dignity, comfort, and hope.

Fredrick Oduory

Busijo, Samia Sub-County, Busia County

A new home was built for Fredrick Oduory, a person living with a disability who had been living in extremely difficult conditions, exposed to rain and the elements. The new home provides a safer, more secure, and more dignified living environment. We also provided an essential elder-care hamper, including bedding and other basic household items, to support older persons living in vulnerable conditions.

Jane

Bunyala Sub-county, Busia County

We built a shelter for Jane from Bunyala, an older person who lives alone, helping restore dignity, security, and comfort in her later years.
